INDIAN HEAD — The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the local public’s assistance in locating missing 81 year old William Alexander Smith out of the Indian Head, Maryland area.
It is believed that William wandered off from his home in the Woodland Village neighborhood in Indian Head, but it is unclear when he left.
He may be wearing a tan jacket and tan pants. William does not have access to a vehicle.
William is described as:
• GENDER: Male.
• ETHNICITY: African American.
• HAIR: Black and Grey.
• EYES: Brown.
• HEIGHT: 5 feet 8 inches.
• WEIGHT: 140 pounds.
• OTHER: William wears glasses.

I live in Indian Head and I am so worried and upset. It’s so bitter cold and from what I have heard, he may have dementia so the poor thing is probably lost and confused. I’m praying for his safe return
